L’Internet delle Cose al servizio del mare: un mondo Smart per lo studio dell’erosione costiera

The aim of this project is to showcase the Smart Sensing solutions developed by the Telecommunication Lab of The Department of Information Engineering and Mathematical Sciences of the University of Siena in collaboration with the Department of Earth Sciences of the University of Pisa to study coastal erosion.
In particular, during the exhibition a set of devices, totally developed by the Lab exploiting 3D printing techniques, Arduino microcontrollers and different communication technologies, will be presented: among them sensing devices to measure sand and sediment transport and a marine drone.
