“Maker Music” is born!

Maker Faire Rome 2015 is happy to announce “Maker Music” area: from DYI to the new fronteers of music making!

“Maker Music”  – a brand new section of Maker Faire Rome – the European Edition,  dedicated to soundcrafting and music making, has just been announced. Born out of a partnership between Maker Faire Rome and Sugar Music – an italian-international music corporation managed and operated from Milan committed to research and invest in growing talents, Maker Music is the results of a shared vision about the maker movement and the potential it boasts also with regards to the music environment.

Bit and beat will merge, and interactive sessions, showcases, dj-set, and even a dedicated kids area, will be running for the 3 days of Maker Faire Rome, from oct 16 through oct 18.

With Maker Music, Maker Faire will be highlighting topics such as copyrighting, augmented instruments, sensors, motherboards and many others. Music makers, artists, producers, students and passionate people will get a unique chance to meet, network, share, learn, shape the future of music and define soundcrafting at its best.
